It's been hot and humid in NYC so far. But for these 27 dogs and 10 cats, life's a beach! Too many cute stories go with this cool group of smush faces but we'll serve up a few and see where it goes. We had one, who arrived with her sister from Tijuana. Somehow her sis got adopted but not this lil girl (big eyes, 2nd row from bottom in the middle) and remained in her foster home way longer. With one instagram post (thank you) we received the pawfect application and she's got a new sister now!
Another sweet girl from Alabama (second one down on the left), wound up with a first time foster who was amazing (thank you to all fosters) and discovered a wonderful home for her near Central Park!
We had a gorgeous ragdoll cat, and sibling kittens, as well as sibling pups and shelter mates! With the work of our volunteers and transporters and all the generous donations from you, our supporters, we were able to place these little guys in their furever sandcastles.
