When it rains it pours. A total of 53 cats and dogs made April's adoption Round Up. 30 dogs and 23 cats to be exact. One of our largest months ever. An adoption a day keeps the blues away.. or as they say "can't buy me love" but you can adopt it! We had another amazing month with 37 dogs and 2 cats all becoming Waggygrads and moving on to live their best lives. Some of our pups came from a horrific hoarding situation with little human contact. Never-ever in our 17 years have we had a record breaking #ADOPTIONROUNDUP month like we’ve had in MAY 2021. SIXTY-EIGHT (68) #Dogs and #cats found #fureverhomes and became #waggygrads. That’s right, 68, (includes 8 cats) and it’s primarily because of all of you, who want to help and #adopt. You continue to inspire us to plow ahead and #rescue at risk animals. Thank you. The year started out strong with 31 #adoptions in January. 20 #dogs and 11 #cats became #waggygrads ! We had the #Disney litter who were named after cute characters and the “B” #puppies from Alabama and we had #kittens who were rescued from there as well as here in #NYC. Additionally there were some local surrenders and #pups who were flown here from #LA. It all worked out – despite a few health setbacks.
