Ah, the dog (and cat) days of August are behind us - and it sure was hot. But what lies ahead for 41 new Waggygrads is only warmth, in a new life with loving families. Congratulations to 25 dogs and puppies and 16 cats and kittens who have been adopted into their furever homes. Once again so many of them have food names. When it rains it pours. A total of 53 cats and dogs made April's adoption Round Up. 30 dogs and 23 cats to be exact. One of our largest months ever. We were on overdrive, working day and night to place these adorable animals in amazing loving homes. How do we do it? The best we can tell you is, it's divine teamwork. An adoption a day keeps the blues away.. or as they say "can't buy me love" but you can adopt it! We had another amazing month with 37 dogs and 2 cats all becoming Waggygrads and moving on to live their best lives. Some of our pups came from a horrific hoarding situation with little human contact. Others were from our local NYC shelter, and many were from some of our rescue partners in Alabama, Texas and California. We even came across a local stray who was neglected and no

September #adoptionroundup ! Our hard-working #volunteers facilitated 49 #adoptions, (9 #cats and 40 #dogs) this month and let us just say, “bow wow-wow”. Amazing work as always and congratulations to everyone. We had a pregnant mama who gave us 7 little #puppies who were all #adopted quickly. The year started out strong with 31 #adoptions in January. 20 #dogs and 11 #cats became #waggygrads ! We had the #Disney litter who were named after cute characters and the “B” #puppies from Alabama and we had #kittens who were rescued from there as well as here in #NYC.
